Mission

Marcia Courage In Action is committed to creating support, awareness and community with courage by taking action. We deliver comfort and courage through Courage Bags and Courage Meals to our cancer warriors during their fight.

As unpredictable and shocking as a cancer diagnosis is, so are the possibilities to fight. Marcia has shown us the way. She is our mentor and survivor leading us to take action.

“In September 2019, I was hospitalized for anemia and spent 5 days there. That’s when all of this hit me.  I’m not the only one going through cancer.  Cancer affects so many lives — statistically, I believe 1 out of 3 people are diagnosed each year and it does not know any boundaries regarding race, religion and socio-economic situations.  From there, whether you’re the patient, the caregiver, the family member, the friend, the person who delivers the meal, the person who gives blood or the nurse who takes that blood, you are affected.  This is why it is important to spread the word and make sure people have CANCER AWARENESS. “
