A beautiful event on a beautiful morning from the Crystal Pier of Wrightsville Beach !
A Courage Bike Ride was held on October 4th in memory of Marcia who loved the outdoors.
Thursday night October 7 Century High School Played for the Cure in memory of Marcia and to support MarCIA Courage in Action. Marcia’s daughter made hair ribbons with Marcia’s initials for the players to wear.
Friends and family gathered at Hank Deitles (a favorite local hang out) to honor MarCIA on courage day 10/10, commemorating the one-year anniversary of the launch of MarCIA Courage in Action. We look forward to making this an annual event. See you next year !
MarCIA Courage tournament kicked off Tuesday night October 12th.
A special seat in the stands was dedicated to Marcia complete with balloon and flowers.
Seven different soccer teams donned MarCIA jerseys in various colors.
