A Courage Meal for Ronald McDonald House New Haven

On August 15, 2026, the Marcia Courage team delivered a Courage Meal to the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven, Connecticut: a homemade spaghetti dinner with Sunday sauce, meatballs, bread, and salad, made from scratch to serve 50 guests and families.

For families spending their days at the hospital, a hot home cooked meal waiting for them back at the house means more than a full plate. As one family put it, "It was so nice to come back from a day at the hospital to a hot home cooked meal!"

The staff at the Ronald McDonald House shared their own thanks too, and it was well earned: this dinner came together because of a group of high school volunteers who spent their day cooking, rolling meatballs, and setting up, all to make sure 50 people had a warm meal and a little less to worry about.
